After looking at a photo of one I was extremely intrigued by this funky looking bicycle. They can get into the innards of our rigs leaving behind a mess as they chew and relieve themselves all over the place.

We do occasionally drop down to below freezing and we do experience snow every now and then. If temps drop down below freezing we head into the Airstream and turn on the furnace which in turn, keeps the Airstream and her pipes warm and from freezing. It is here where we love to spend our weekends and holidays with our Airstream.
We can take our Airstream with us up to the mountain pass and literally have a ski-in and ski-out situation.
Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well.

Nearly 22 years ago now. Today, it has 95, miles. A large percentage of that 58, mile difference has been off-road in the Pacific Northwest. The rest has been getting to and from the trail-head to leave the pavement. I traced this rig’s history and spoke to it’s original owner not long after buying it. He had purchased it as a dealer “demo” with 4, miles on the odometer.
This spectacular saltwater beach park is located along the beautiful shores of Port Susan.
The sulfuric acid is absorbed by a very fine fiberglass mat, making the battery spill-proof. This enables shipment without hazardous material restrictions. The plates can be made flat to resemble a standard flooded lead acid pack in a rectangular case; they can also be wound into a cylindrical cell. AGM has very low internal resistance, is capable to deliver high currents on demand and offers a relatively long service life, even when deep cycled.
AGM is maintenance free, provides good electrical reliability and is lighter than the flooded lead acid type. While regular lead acid batteries need a topping charge every six months to prevent the buildup of sulfation , AGM batteries are less prone to sulfation and can sit in storage for longer before a charge becomes necessary. The battery stands up well to low temperatures and has a low self-discharge. The leading advantages of AGM are a charge that is up to five times faster than the flooded version, and the ability to deep cycle.
AGM offers a depth-of-discharge of 80 percent; the flooded, on the other hand, is specified at 50 percent DoD to attain the same cycle life. The negatives are slightly lower specific energy and higher manufacturing costs than the flooded, but cheaper than the gel battery. Most AGM batteries are mid-sized and range from 30 to Ah.

The beach gets its name from the distinctive half-bowl crescent shape. A beautiful one-half mile of this sandy beach is a part of the park. The most popular activity is to stroll the private beach from one end to another collecting the perfect seaside memento. Every tide brings in a unique collection of sand dollars, shells, agates and driftwood.
Children love to spend their time building sandcastles or driftwood forts, beachcombing, flying kits, writing in the sand or playing with the seaweed. Most children are fascinated with the seaweed brought in by some tides.
